For more than 80 years, The American Legion has supported today’s young people as we observe April as Children & Youth Month. During this month of celebration, American Legion Family members are encouraged to show their local communities our dedication to young people by hosting youth activities or by becoming involved in programs and organizations that support young people. 

All memebers are welcome to attend.

The National Executive Committee passed Resolution No. 7, American Legion Family Day at its Fall Meeting in October 2022. The resolution established an American Legion Family Day to be observed annually on the last Saturday of April.
