It's that time of the year again, when Post 90 selects high school Juniors to attend American Legion Boys State & American Legion Auxiliary Girls State. The Post has been busy preparing for and raising money to sponsor students to attend the 2026 sessions, 21-27 June.
Do you know a high school junior who would benefit from this program?
Boys and Girls State are among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for U.S. high school students. A participatory program in which students become part of the operation of local, county and state government. Participants learn the rights, privileges and responsibilities of citizens. The training is objective and centers on the structure of city, county and state governments.
